hi. i love you.

so i was thinking a lot about this past year on my way home tonight. 

one year ago, my boyfriend was living in an apartment. on new years eve, we went to brian and michelle’s, barely drank, had breakfast with his parents at 1:30 in the morning, and then rang in the new year our way… which we were new to with each other, anyway. funny to think about.

over the course of this year i’ve had a ton of learning experiences: being in a new relationship for the first time in awhile, and letting that get deeper. going through a ton of family shit. transitioning into my second and third semesters of college. learning so much more about myself, and how to be with others. learning my boundaries and what not to do on jackson street. learning how to write an article near perfectly, learning how to make new friends, and learning how to be a better person.

this year may not have been the smoothest year or the best year, but it was absolutely incredible and breathtaking, and i wouldn’t trade any moment away. i learned so much this year that i feel will stay with me for the rest of my life. and i’m so ready to take on 2011 with a new stance and a new attitude, and tackle it head on. 

i’m ready to be healthier, make new friends, make things happen, and not let others dictate my life. 

as randy said to me just now, 2011 is going to be the year shit gets real.

bring it on.

by that i mean enough of one to stop this challenge thing because i really don’t have that much time to sit around on tumblr. i might change my mind later and do yesterdays and todays.
